ECO & SOCIAL SERVICES CLUB

“He that plants trees loves others beside himself.” – Dr. Thomas Fuller

Being environmentally friendly simply means having a lifestyle that is better for the environment. It’s all about taking small steps towards Mother Earth so as to make this planet a better place for our communities and generations to come. A good way would be to start with conserving water, driving less and walking more, consuming less energy, buying recycled products, eating locally grown vegetables, joining environmental groups to combat air pollution, creating less waste, planting more trees, and many more.

Aim: To save Mother Earth from further deterioration, the present generation is to be enriched and encouraged to a pollution-free environment and healthy living. With the mission to sensitize the students towards the importance of the environment, making them more eco-conscious and socially responsible towards conserving the natural world, our school started its Eco-Club. Science is the teaching and learning of science to non-scientists, such as school children, college students, or adults within the general public. The field of science education includes work in science content, science process, and some teaching pedagogy. The standards for science education provide expectations for the development of understanding for students through the entire course of their K-12 education and beyond. The traditional subjects included in the standards are physical, life, Earth, space, and human sciences. VEDIC MATHS CLUB

“Without Mathematics, there’s nothing you can do. Everything around you is mathematics. Everything around you is numbers.” – Shakuntala Devi

Roger Bacon (1214-1294), an English Franciscan friar, philosopher, scientist, and scholar of the 13th century, once stated: “Neglect of mathematics works injury to all knowledge since he who is ignorant of it cannot know the other sciences or the things of the world”

Mathematics gives shape to our daily life. Contemporary life demands the requirement to have good mathematical knowledge. It is important for life and supports all-around personal development. We can find mathematical applications in nature, technology, architecture, machinery, the building industry, in banking sector, research, etc. We can develop pupils’ interest in Mathematics with the help of quality education because mathematics is a part of our daily routine and influences the quality of our lives and the quality of our professional orientation.
